Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Engagement of an Individual Consultant for the Development of a Video Advertisement under the Mustard oil value chain sub project financed by PKSF under RMTP Project

1. Introduction                  

1. Project Overview:

Unnayan Prochesta has been instrumental in the development of three mustard oil producing entrepreneurs under the PKSF financing RMTP project, aimed at the production and marketing of save mustardoil. This endeavor, in collaboration with IFAD and PKSF, is a subproject with the objective of enhancing the mustard oil industry. The immediate task is to create a video advertisement to increase customer traffic, and thus Unnayan Prochesta seeks to engage a qualified individual consultant.

1. Objective of Consultancy:

The aim is to design and produce an impactful video advertisement that reflects the project’s vision and resonates with the target audience.

1. Scope of Work

1. Responsibilities:

The consultant will be responsible for:

1. • Analyzing the project’s objectives, target market, and key messages.
   • Developing a conceptual framework and storyboard in consultation with Unnayan Prochesta.
   • Undertaking all pre-production activities, including scriptwriting, casting, location scouting, etc.
   • Directing and producing the video, employing high-quality cinematography, sound design, graphics, animations, etc.
   • Coordinating post-production activities, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, etc.
   • Ensuring the final product is in line with Unnayan Prochesta brand guidelines and project objectives.
   • Submitting the final video in required formats within the stipulated timeline.
2. Deliverables:

** Consultant must provide the draft and final copy of product to Unnayan Prochestain disc/pen drive and email with best quality.

1. III. Qualifications and Experience

1. Essential:
   • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
   • Minimum of5years’ experience in video production, with at least 3 no of video documentaries or advertisement production.
   • Demonstrable experience with similar projects, including portfolio submission will be preferable
   • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software and equipment.
2. Desirable:
   • Familiarity with the local culture and the mustard oil industry.
   • Ability to work within tight deadlines and budget constraints.

The consultancy is expected to complete the job within 45 days after agreement done.
